Their sound identity is defined by producer Imhotep's 'architectural' approach to sampling, which often utilizes Middle Eastern melodies, cinematic strings, and Wu-Tang-esque martial arts aesthetics. Their 1997 magnum opus, 'L'école du micro d'argent', remains a cultural touchstone, achieving diamond status and setting the gold standard for conscious, sample-heavy production in Europe.
