American country artist Joshua Ryan Owen, professionally known as Jake Owen, launched his music career after signing with RCA Nashville in 2006. His debut studio album, Startin' with Me, yielded three top 20 hits. Owen continued his success with the 2009 release Easy Does It and his 2011 album Barefoot Blue Jean Night, which featured his first number one single. His subsequent work includes the 2013 album Days of Gold.
