白鲨JAWS (BaishaJAWS) is a Chinese rock band formed in July 2019. The lineup features lead singer Micheal Yu, guitarists Bangbang and Jialin, and bass guitarist Laomer.
1, and their 2020 album HERO, blending modern alternative rock, pop-punk, and J-rock-influenced mathy guitar arrangements. They achieved widespread recognition through their extensive collaboration with the popular Chinese animated series 时光代理人 (LINK CLICK). They produced the hit opening theme "Dive Back In Time" for the first season in 2021, and returned in the summer of 2023 to contribute three new soundtracks for the show's second season. This connection to high-concept animation aligns their sonic identity with cinematic, high-energy storytelling. In October 2023, the band expanded their reach globally by launching their first world tour, 「Ready4theJAWS」, performing across Asia and Australia. Their music is characterized by technically proficient instrumentation, soaring vocal melodies, and polished, modern production that bridges the gap between indie rock credibility and mainstream pop appeal.
