Jerome

Jerome is a London-based duo consisting of Annalisa Iembo and Stella Mathioudakis, who bring a multi-ethnic background (Italian, Swedish, Greek) to their avant-garde electronic project. Formed in 2019, the group represents a sharp departure from their formal classical training, opting instead for a 'dystopic manifesto' of industrial noise, techno, and darkwave.

Their sound identity is defined by high-intensity sonic textures, utilizing distorted drum machines and modular synthesis to create a sense of 'controlled ferocity.' This aesthetic places them within a lineage of industrial innovators who prioritize emotional catharsis over dancefloor utility. Critically, they are noted for exploring themes of pain, rebirth, and acceptance through a lens of dark electronics.
