Shimmering, high-fashion pop with a signature icy-sweet vocal. Polished synth melodies that feel like a sunset drive through a coastal city.
Jessica’s music is the sonic equivalent of a silk scarf catching the breeze. It is impeccably polished, carrying an air of effortless sophistication that balances sugary pop hooks with a cool, detached elegance. Her sound often leans into the 'Ice Princess' persona she cultivated early in her career, utilizing bright, crystalline synths and airy production that feels both expensive and intimate.
What truly sets her apart is her distinct vocal timbre - a high, slightly nasal, and incredibly sweet soprano that cuts through dense electronic arrangements with surgical precision. Unlike the powerhouse belting common in her peer group, Jessica relies on breathy textures, delicate ad-libs, and a rhythmic phrasing that feels more aligned with Western R&B-inflected pop than traditional idol music.
Start with her debut EP 'With Love, J' to hear her transition from group member to solo auteur. The track 'Fly' perfectly encapsulates her aspirational, sun-drenched aesthetic, while her later work like 'BEEP BEEP' shows a more playful, matured take on the dance-pop genre that remains unmistakably her own.
