This duo redefined the DJ mix as an art form, moving away from simple track-to-track transitions toward a symphonic, multi-layered experience. Digweed's sound identity is rooted in 'Bedrock,' both his production alias with Nick Muir and his influential record label. While his early work touched on the melodic heights of trance, he famously pivoted toward a darker, more minimal, and tribal aesthetic in the early 2000s to distance himself from the commercialization of the genre.
