Polished, high-energy dance-pop with a soulful British edge. Shimmering synths and soaring falsetto hooks built for neon-lit nights and summer festival stages.
Julian Perretta delivers a sound that feels like the intersection of a high-fashion runway and a packed European dance floor. It is music defined by its sleekness, combining the melodic sensibilities of classic British songwriting with the propulsive, synthetic textures of modern house and electropop. The atmosphere is consistently upscale and vibrant, evoking images of glass-walled penthouses and coastal summer nights.
What sets Perretta apart is his vocal agility, specifically a soulful falsetto that glides effortlessly over heavy electronic production. While many of his peers lean into either pure acoustic pop or hard-hitting EDM, Perretta occupies a middle ground where Jamiroquai-influenced funk meets the precision of French house. There is a distinct 'continental' polish to his work that explains his massive success in markets like France and Germany.
New listeners should start with the single 'Wonder Why' to hear his pop-soul foundations, then move to 'Substitution' or 'Miracle' to experience his evolution into a premier dance-pop vocalist. It is the ideal soundtrack for moments that require a boost of confidence, style, and rhythmic momentum.
