Jupiter

Jupiter was formed in 2013 by four former members of the legendary visual kei band Versailles, following that group's hiatus. Led by guitar virtuoso Hizaki, the band serves as a continuation of the 'Symphonic Metal' aesthetic but with a more aggressive, power-metal-leaning edge.

Their sound identity is built on the foundation of neoclassical shredding, dual-guitar harmonies, and dense orchestral arrangements. Despite several vocalist changes, including the transition from Zin to Kuze, the band has maintained a consistent reputation for technical excellence and high-concept visual presentation. They occupy a central role in the modern Visual Kei scene, bridging the gap between traditional Japanese rock aesthetics and international power metal standards. Critical consensus highlights their instrumental proficiency, particularly the interplay between Hizaki and Teru, which is considered among the finest in the genre.
