Intro

La Materialista delivers a high-voltage blend of Dominican urban sounds that feels like a shot of adrenaline. Her music is defined by the relentless, driving pulse of dembow and reggaeton, layered with the glossy sheen of contemporary pop. It is loud, unapologetic, and designed to dominate any space it occupies, from car stereos to massive festival stages.

What sets her apart is the sheer force of her personality and the versatility of her flow. She moves effortlessly between rapid-fire rapping and melodic hooks, all while maintaining a persona that is both aspirational and deeply rooted in the streets of the Dominican Republic. The production is often maximalist, featuring heavy bass and sharp digital textures that demand movement.

For those new to her catalog, start with her mid-2010s hits to hear the blueprint of female-led Dominican urban music. It is the perfect soundtrack for when you need to feel untouchable, whether you are heading out for the night or just need to inject some serious energy into a dull afternoon.

Yameiry Josefina Infante Honoret (born March 19, 1985), known in show business as La Materialista, is a Dominican singer, rapper, actress and vedette. La Materialista was the leading female exponent of the Dominican urban music in the early 2000s, winning the Q Award for "Best Urban Artist" (2012) and "Best Video Clip" (2013); she has also been nominated for the Soberano Award on several occasions as "Best New Artist" and "Urban Group of the Year". In 2013, she became the first Dominican female artist to perform at Miss Venezuela.
