Ladyhawke is the solo project of New Zealand multi-instrumentalist Pip Brown, who emerged in the late 2000s as a key figure in the global synth-pop revival. Her sound identity is a meticulous blend of 1980s New Wave influences, 1990s grunge textures, and classic 1970s pop sensibilities.
