Lori Mechem

Lori Mechem is a Nashville-based jazz pianist, composer, and educator whose work bridges the gap between traditional bop-influenced jazz and the rhythmic fluidity of Brazilian bossa nova. A graduate of Ball State University, Mechem established herself as a formidable talent in the Midwest before relocating to Nashville in 1988.
