A whimsical blend of 1970s glam rock and Tuscan folk storytelling. Surreal, theatrical, and deeply nostalgic music for dreamers and modern-day poets.
Lucio Corsi sounds like a technicolor dream of the 1970s filtered through the rustic landscapes of Tuscany. His music balances the shimmering, electric energy of David Bowie-era glam rock with the intimate, grounded storytelling of traditional Italian cantautori. It is a sound that feels both ancient and futuristic, where acoustic guitars meet cosmic synthesizers and orchestral flourishes.
What truly sets Corsi apart is his commitment to a fairytale aesthetic. He doesn't just write songs; he builds bestiaries and mythologies, populating his tracks with animals, celestial bodies, and surreal characters. His androgynous, gentle vocal delivery adds a layer of theatricality that feels sincere rather than ironic, creating a space where imagination is treated with the utmost seriousness.
Start with 'Cosa faremo da grandi?' for a perfect introduction to his cinematic folk-pop style. If you want to dive into his more eccentric, conceptual side, 'Bestiario musicale' offers a unique journey through the wildlife of the Maremma, showcasing his ability to turn nature into high art.
