Ethereal falsetto soaring over jagged, complex rhythms and lush orchestral walls. Epic, dream-like rock that feels both intimate and impossibly vast.
Formed in Hellerup, Denmark, in 1994, the alternative rock band Mew featured Jonas Bjerre, Bo Madsen, Johan Wohlert, and Silas Utke Graae Jørgensen. The group achieved significant success with their 2003 album Frengers and later topped the Danish charts twice. Recognized with an MTV Europe Music Award for Best Danish Act, the band signed with Sony Music before disbanding in 2026 following Bjerre's departure and a final global farewell tour.
