Millencolin

Millencolin is a cornerstone of the 1990s and 2000s international punk explosion, representing the pinnacle of the 'Swedish Invasion' of skate punk. Formed in Örebro in 1992, the band was a primary driver for Burning Heart Records and eventually became the first European act signed to the legendary Epitaph Records.

Their sound identity is built on the 'skate punk' template - fast tempos, melodic vocals, and technical proficiency - but is distinguished by a melodic sensibility influenced by European pop and folk traditions, often resulting in a more 'melancholic' tone than their American contemporaries.
