Their debut album, 'Wolves' (2006), received significant critical acclaim for its 'theatrical' and 'magical' qualities, positioning them alongside contemporaries like Broken Records and The Phantom Band within a specific Scottish art-folk scene. Their second effort, 'Deaths & Entrances' (2009), leaned further into literary influences and darker, more intricate arrangements.
