Sleek, melodic techno and house that balances Berlin's industrial grit with organic, global rhythms. Perfect for late-night drives and sunrise festival sets.
Oliver Koletzki crafts a sound that feels like the pulse of Berlin at night, yet it is infused with a warmth and melodic sensibility that makes it accessible beyond the dark basement clubs. His music often centers on a clean, driving rhythm section that provides a steady foundation for shimmering synth leads and occasional organic flourishes like acoustic guitars or world-music percussion. It is high-definition electronic music that feels both meticulously engineered and deeply human.
What sets Koletzki apart is his ability to pivot between the clinical precision of minimal techno and the lush, storytelling atmosphere of melodic house. He often uses 'insectoid' textures, high-pitched chirps, and clicking percussion that give his tracks a unique, living energy. Whether he is collaborating with vocalists for pop-leaning house tracks or crafting sprawling instrumental epics, there is a consistent sense of movement and sophisticated sound design that keeps the listener locked in.
For those new to his catalog, starting with the classic 'Der Mückenschwarm' is essential to understand his roots in the minimal scene. From there, explore 'Großstadtmärchen' to hear how he integrates vocals and narrative into his club-ready productions. If you prefer something more recent and atmospheric, 'Fire in the Jungle' showcases his evolution into more organic, tribal-influenced textures that work perfectly for outdoor festivals.
