One Desire is a cornerstone of the modern Scandinavian melodic rock (AOR) revival. Formed in Finland in 2012, the band is led by vocalist André Linman (formerly of Sturm und Drang) and producer/guitarist Jimmy Westerlund.

Since their 2017 debut, they have been critically lauded for revitalizing a genre often dismissed as nostalgic, proving its viability through sophisticated songwriting and exceptional musicianship.
