S. is the solo alias of Paavo Siljamäki, one-third of the globally influential trance trio Above & Beyond and co-founder of the Anjunabeats label.
S. project serves as a more personal outlet for his explorations into melodic progressive house and deeper trance. The project debuted in the early 2000s with 'Remember (Summer Sun)', a track that became a staple of the 'Anjunabeats Volume 1' era and established his signature sound: emotive, minor-key melodies paired with crisp, driving percussion. After a long hiatus focused on group projects, Siljamäki revived the alias in the early 2020s, culminating in the 'Deeper Tales' album.
