Intro

Pardison Fontaine brings a commanding, physical presence to modern hip-hop. His sound is rooted in the aggressive, punchline-driven tradition of New York rap but updated with the sleek, heavy-hitting production of the trap era. There is a palpable weight to his voice, a baritone gravity that makes even his most playful lines feel authoritative and earned.

What truly sets him apart is his rhythmic intelligence. Having penned some of the biggest hits for the genre's titans, his own tracks display a masterclass in flow construction and infectious hooks. He balances the raw energy of a street rapper with the calculated precision of a top-tier songwriter, resulting in music that feels both spontaneous and perfectly engineered for the club or the car.

Start with 'Backin' It Up' to hear his chemistry with high-profile collaborators, then dive into 'Under8ed' to appreciate his versatility. It is the ideal soundtrack for moments of high confidence, physical exertion, or anytime the environment requires a shot of pure, unadulterated swagger.

Jorden Kyle Lanier Thorpe (born December 29, 1989), better known by his stage name Pardison Fontaine, is an American rapper and songwriter from Newburgh, New York. He is best known for his 2018 single "Backin' It Up" (featuring Cardi B), which peaked at number 40 on the US Billboard Hot 100, received platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), and led him to sign with Atlantic Records. The label released his debut studio album, Under8ed (2019), which failed to chart. Along with his recording career, Thorpe has been credited as co-writer on songs for other artists, such as Kanye West ("Yikes", "Ghost Town", and "All Mine"), Cardi B ("Bodak Yellow", "I Like It", "Wild Side", "WAP", and "Up"), and Megan Thee Stallion ("Savage Remix" and "WAP"). At the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards, Thorpe won Best Rap Song for his contributions to the latter's single, "Savage Remix".
