Pascal is a Swedish trio formed in 2005, consisting of Isak Sundström, Manuela De Gouveia, and Mimmi Skog. Emerging from the Gotland and Stockholm scenes, they quickly established a reputation for a sound that synthesized the raw energy of 1970s Swedish punk (Ebba Grön) with the atmospheric noise of UK post-punk and American garage rock. Their sound identity is defined by a 'less is more' philosophy: minimalist drumming, fuzzed-out bass, and guitars that utilize feedback as a melodic instrument.

Throughout their career, from early demos to later works like 'Revy' and 'Fuck Like a Beast', they have maintained a consistent aesthetic of 'noisy pop,' refusing to polish away the grit that gives their music its character. Critically, they are often cited as one of the most important Swedish-language rock acts of the 21st century, bridging the gap between indie-pop and avant-garde noise. Their influence is particularly visible in the resurgence of Swedish post-punk and the 'dark pop' movement, sharing a spiritual and stylistic kinship with artists like Hurula.
