Phantom Elite

Phantom Elite is a Dutch-Brazilian modern metal outfit founded in 2016, born from the creative synergy between vocalist Marina La Torraca and After Forever's Sander Gommans. While Gommans serves in an executive producer and songwriting capacity, the band's identity is forged by La Torraca's commanding vocal presence and a rotating cast of high-caliber musicians.

Their sound evolution marks a transition from traditional symphonic power metal toward a more contemporary, progressive, and alternative metal aesthetic. This shift is characterized by the integration of modern rhythmic structures, electronic elements, and a departure from classical orchestration in favor of cinematic synths. Critically, they are noted for bridging the gap between the 'female-fronted' symphonic scene of the 2000s and the technical, polished metalcore and prog-metal sounds of the 2020s. Their position in the Frontiers Records roster has solidified their status as a leading voice in the 'Modern Melodic Metal' movement alongside peers like Ad Infinitum.
