High-octane Canadian punk featuring gang-vocal hooks and anxious, self-aware lyrics. It is the sound of a controlled explosion in a very small room.
Formed in Toronto in 2010, the Canadian band PUP blends punk, indie, and hardcore influences. The group consists of Stefan Babcock, Nestor Chumak, Zack Mykula, and Steve Sladkowski. Throughout their career, the SOCAN Songwriting Prize winners have released five studio albums, including their 2013 self-titled debut and 2025's Who Will Look After the Dogs?, alongside various EPs. They have recorded music under labels such as Royal Mountain, SideOneDummy, and Rise Records.
