Pure Bathing Culture, the Portland-based duo of Sarah Versprille and Daniel Hindman, emerged from the folk-rock outfit Vetiver with a sound that pivoted toward sophisticated dream pop. Their identity is built on a foundation of '80s-influenced guitar textures and '70s-style melodic clarity.
