Alexander James O'Connor, known as Rex Orange County, is a British multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter. Emerging from Grayshott, he began self-producing music at sixteen. His sound blends indie pop, neo soul, bedroom pop, and contemporary R&B. After gaining attention through early independent releases and collaborations with Tyler, the Creator, he signed with RCA Records.
