Satanic Warmaster

Satanic Warmaster is the solo project of Lauri Penttilä, known as Werwolf, and stands as a pillar of the Finnish black metal scene. Formed in 1998 after Werwolf's departure from Horna, the project has maintained a prolific output of full-lengths, EPs, and splits.

The sound identity is defined by 'Finnish melodicism' - a style that utilizes minor-key tremolo picking to create a sense of longing and triumph within a raw, lo-fi framework.
