See You Next Tuesday

High-velocity mathcore that feels like a controlled demolition. Dissonant, hyper-active, and relentlessly heavy music for those who find peace in total sonic chaos.

Intro

Listening to See You Next Tuesday is like being caught in a high-speed collision where every piece of debris is moving in a perfectly choreographed, albeit terrifying, pattern. Their sound is a jagged intersection of grindcore speed and mathcore complexity, characterized by sudden rhythmic shifts that feel like the floor dropping out from under you. It is music that refuses to settle, constantly pivoting between blast beats and dissonant, screeching guitar work.

What truly distinguishes them is the evolution from their early 'MySpace-era' chaos into a more sophisticated, almost industrial-tinged heaviness in their later work. While they started with a tongue-in-cheek attitude, the technical execution is anything but a joke. The production is often sharp and punishing, highlighting a snare sound that cracks like a whip and vocals that range from guttural roars to frantic, desperate shrieks.

Start with 'Intervals' to hear them at their most iconic mid-2000s peak, or dive into 'Distractions' for a more modern, textured approach to their signature brand of auditory violence. It is essential listening for anyone who thinks traditional metal is too predictable.

See You Next Tuesday is an American grindcore band from Bay City, Michigan. They were signed to Ferret Records, an independent record label based in New Brunswick, New Jersey. The group released two full-length studio albums; Parasite (2007) and Intervals (2008), through Ferret before disestablishing in 2009 due to financial problems and personal reasons. On May 22, 2015, the group announced that they would make a one-off appearance to perform at Don't Call It A Fest II on September 12, 2015. Following the performance, the band announced it would extend the reunion and would be reforming. In early 2023 the band released their third full length-album Distractions, the band's first release in 15 years.
