Shameless

Shameless is a German-born glam and sleaze rock project founded in 1989 by bassist Alexx Michael. While originating in Munich, the band's identity is inextricably linked to the Los Angeles hard rock scene.

After an initial hiatus in the early 90s, the band re-emerged in 1998 as a unique collaborative entity, utilizing a revolving door of legendary guest musicians from the 1980s hair metal era. This 'supergroup' approach has seen contributions from Eric Singer (KISS), Steve Summers (Pretty Boy Floyd), and Stevie Rachelle (Tuff), among others. Their sound is a faithful preservation of the Sunset Strip aesthetic: high-gain guitar hooks, anthemic choruses, and lyrical themes centered on hedonism and rock-and-roll lifestyle. Critically, they are viewed as torchbearers for a specific subculture, maintaining high production standards through collaborations with figures like Gilby Clarke.
