Intro

Sizarr sounds like the intersection of a sweaty basement rock show and a high-concept electronic club. Their music is defined by a thick, atmospheric murk that somehow feels both claustrophobic and expansive. You can hear the influence of the UK's art-rock scene, but it is filtered through a distinctly German electronic sensibility, resulting in songs that pulse with a nervous, driving energy.

What truly sets them apart is the friction between Deaf Sty’s raw, emotive vocals and the precision of the rhythm section. They pair live Latin-influenced percussion with rigid synthesized beats, creating a polyrhythmic foundation that feels more organic than standard indie-electronic fare. The guitar work is often cyclical and hypnotic, mirroring the repetitive structures of deep house while maintaining a sharp, post-punk edge.

Start with their debut album, Psycho Boy Happy. It captures the band at their most potent, balancing catchy melodic hooks with experimental textures. It is the perfect soundtrack for those hours of the night where the line between being energized and being exhausted begins to blur.
