Skope, the alias of London-based producer Alex Chambers (also known for his drum and bass work as Malux), represents the pinnacle of the UK's technical glitch-hop and neuro-funk scene. Emerging in the early 2010s, Chambers quickly distinguished himself through a 'surgical' approach to production, characterized by extreme attention to stereo imaging and granular detail.

His work often bridges the gap between the aggressive sound design of Noisia and the soulful, swung rhythms of classic hip-hop. Throughout his career, particularly on labels like Inspected and Adapted, he has evolved from standard dubstep templates into a more sophisticated 'halftime' and 'neurohop' aesthetic.
