Sonny John Moore, professionally known as Skrillex, is an American musician, producer, and DJ. After starting his career as a vocalist for the post-hardcore band From First to Last, he transitioned to a solo electronic career in 2007. He creates music across dubstep, future house, UK garage, and electronic dance genres. Throughout his career, Skrillex has earned multiple Grammy Awards and released music through labels including OWSLA, Atlantic, and Big Beat Records.
