Intro

Sneakbo delivers a sound that is fundamentally rooted in the intersection of London's 'road rap' scene and the rhythmic pulse of the Caribbean. It is music that feels physically heavy, driven by thick sub-bass and crisp, syncopated drum patterns that demand movement. While the lyrical themes often touch on the realities of street life, the delivery is frequently buoyed by a melodic, dancehall-inspired flow that gives the tracks a celebratory, almost anthemic quality.

What truly sets him apart is the 'Jetski Wave' aesthetic: a specific blend of Nigerian heritage, Brixton grit, and a global pop sensibility. He avoids the relentless gloom of some of his drill contemporaries, opting instead for a glossy, high-definition production style that feels equally at home on a festival main stage as it does in a car stereo. His voice carries a natural authority, cutting through dense electronic arrangements with a rhythmic precision that bridges the gap between rapping and deejaying.

For those new to his catalog, starting with the album 'Brixton' is essential. It serves as a definitive map of his sound, showcasing his ability to pivot from aggressive street narratives to infectious, club-oriented hooks. It captures the transition from a viral mixtape star to a seasoned artist who helped define the sonic landscape of modern British urban music.

Agassi Babatunde Odusina (born 25 July 1992), better known by his stage name Sneakbo, is a British rapper. His first song, "The Wave", peaked at number 48 on the UK Singles Chart and he has since released a number of top 40 hits, such as "Zim Zimma" and "Ring a Ling" between 2012 and 2013. After releasing music for over eight years, Sneakbo released his debut album Brixton in March 2018.
