Soman is a prominent German electronic music project formed in Dresden in 2003 by sound engineer and producer Kolja Trelle. Drawing on his extensive background engineering for notable dark alternative acts like Absurd Minds, Hocico, and Terminal Choice, Trelle launched Soman to explore a hybrid style often described as 'Industrial for Clubs.'

Over a career spanning multiple decades, Soman has established a reputation as a formidable live act, performing at major alternative festivals and supporting prominent genre giants such as VNV Nation. Trelle has also expanded the project's sonic palette through recurring vocal collaborations with alternative artist Lahannya, softening the mechanical onslaught with melodic contrast.
