Formed in 1990 in Rugby, United Kingdom, Spiritualized is a rock band founded by Jason Pierce. The group explores psychedelic and space rock sounds, releasing nine studio albums across labels including Dedicated, Fat Possum, and Double Six Records. Their 1997 record, Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating in Space, remains their most celebrated work. Over the decades, the band has featured various musicians alongside Pierce, including Thighpaulsandra, Will Carruthers, and Kate Radley.
