Formed in Belfast in 1977, Stiff Little Fingers emerged as a pioneering punk rock group during the Troubles. Initially performing as a school cover band, they gained notoriety for releasing the first independent punk record in Northern Ireland and achieving a UK top 20 milestone with their debut album. Despite a mid-eighties hiatus and various lineup shifts, lead singer Jake Burns continues to lead the band through ongoing global tours and studio recordings.
