Sub Dub Micromachine (SDMM) is a Berlin-based trio that emerged in 1997, evolving from a post-punk foundation into a formidable force in the industrial and nu-metal landscapes. The band consists of H-Beta, Kirk de Burgh, and Marcello Goldhofer, veterans of the Berlin scene who pivoted toward a 'bigger, badder sound' following the departure of their original vocalist.

Their sonic identity is built on the pillars of low-tuned guitars, prominent slap bass techniques, and a hybrid vocal approach that incorporates rapping, growling, and melodic singing.
