Subliminal is the primary musical alias of German artist Albert Fisch, a cornerstone figure of the influential Galakthorrö label. Emerging in the late 1990s, Fisch's work is synonymous with the 'Power Electronics' and 'Angst Pop' subcultures of the German industrial underground.

His sound identity is defined by a strict adherence to analog hardware, utilizing synthesizers, tape inserts, and rhythmic machine loops to create a dense, claustrophobic atmosphere. Unlike many noise artists who rely on random chaos, Subliminal's work is characterized by a controlled, almost surgical precision in its aggression. His career arc moved from the sample-heavy, rhythmic focus of 'Gracebudd' (2000) toward the more vocal-centric, emotionally volatile 'Coping' (2006). Critically, he is regarded as a master of the 'Galakthorrö sound,' alongside label mates Haus Arafna and November Növelet.
