Los Angeles-based musician Brittney Denise Parks, known as Sudan Archives, is a violinist, singer, and songwriter. Originally from Cincinnati, she began playing violin by ear during childhood. Now signed to Stones Throw Records, she has released three studio albums: Athena, Natural Brown Prom Queen, and The BPM. In 2023, her work earned her two Libera Awards, recognizing her as both the Best Breakthrough Artist and the creator of the Best R&B Record.
