Superlover

Superlover is the house-focused alias of Berlin-based producer Ferri Borbás, a veteran of the German electronic scene who previously operated under the techno-leaning moniker M_Ferri. Borbás was a first-generation witness to the post-Wall Berlin techno explosion, an influence that provided him with a deep understanding of functional dancefloor mechanics.

While his early career was defined by the industrial, radical techno of the mid-90s, the Superlover project represents a pivot toward a more melodic, disco-infused aesthetic. His sound identity is characterized by the use of 'Sunday Disco' edits and high-energy house reconstructions of classic soul and funk motifs. He is a central figure in the Berlin label landscape, having founded Kassette and Autist.
