SynSUN is a pivotal Ukrainian electronic project formed in 1998 by Andrey Vakhnenko (Andi Vax) and Evgeniy Ryabinin. Emerging from the Kiev trance scene, they successfully bridged the gap between the melodic, acid-drenched roots of 90s Goa trance and the hyper-polished, aggressive 'Full-on' style of the 2000s.

Their sound identity is defined by a 'melodic high tech' approach, characterized by symphonic structures, complex lead synth work, and a surgical approach to digital mixing. Andi Vax's influence extends beyond the music itself; his 'Mixing Secrets' tutorials became a foundational resource for a generation of bedroom producers, cementing the project's reputation for technical excellence. Throughout their career, they moved from the more organic sounds of 'Full Power of Goa' to the maximalist, crossover-leaning 'We Are the World,' which integrated rock-influenced guitar work.
