The Abyss Inside Us is the solo moniker of Greek composer and sound engineer Nikos Togkaridis. Launched in 2019 with the 'Earth 2' EP, the project represents a synthesis of Togkaridis's diverse background in electronic production, film scoring, and drumming.

Based in Athens, his sound is characterized by a high-fidelity approach to post-rock, prioritizing lush, layered arrangements and cinematic dynamics over raw aggression. The project has been prolific, releasing multiple LPs and EPs in a short window, often collaborating with other figures in the international post-rock scene like Sidus and Mike Bodulow.
