Formed in 2006 in Dana Point, California, The Growlers are an American garage rock band currently based in Costa Mesa. The group features members Brooks Nielsen, Kyle Straka, and Scott Montoya. Throughout their career, the band has produced seven albums along with various EPs and singles. Their distinctive musical aesthetic, which blends elements of surf, pop, and rock, is widely recognized by the self-styled genre label Beach Goth.
