Intro

Thiago Pantaleão creates music that feels like a neon-lit celebration of the self. His sound is a sophisticated intersection of global R&B aesthetics and the raw, rhythmic heart of Rio de Janeiro’s suburban streets. There is a shimmering, high-definition quality to his production that mirrors the ambition of 2000s pop divas, yet it remains firmly rooted in the contemporary Brazilian landscape through its use of funk carioca beats and local slang.

What truly sets him apart is the tension between his religious upbringing and his queer identity, which he navigates with a mix of defiance and grace. His vocals are exceptionally athletic, moving from smooth, breathy verses to powerful, gospel-trained belts and crystalline falsettos. This technical prowess allows him to tackle heavy themes of racial identity and social justice without ever losing the infectious, danceable core of his music.

Start with the album Fim do Mundo to hear the full breadth of his vision. It is a record that balances club-ready bangers with moments of genuine vulnerability, serving as the perfect introduction to an artist who is redefining what a Brazilian pop star looks like in the modern era.
