Toots & The Maytals

Formed in Jamaica during the mid-1960s, Toots and the Maytals became essential architects of ska, rocksteady, and reggae. Led by the late Toots Hibbert, the group gained international prominence for their soulful sound and for coining the term reggae with their 1968 hit.
