Tronic

Tronic is a seminal Chilean pop punk band formed in 2003 by Rigo and Chavin. The band's identity is inextricably linked to their use of a digital drummer named Ciro, a creative solution born from the loss of their original recordings to a computer virus and the departure of human members.

This 'virtual' element allowed them to experiment with tempos and patterns that exceeded standard human performance, carving out a niche in the 'Rock Chileno' scene. Their debut album, 'Ke patine la risa', became a massive independent success, propelled by the single 'Combo Final'. Throughout the mid-2000s, they evolved into a cultural touchstone for Chilean youth, blending the melodic sensibilities of bands like Blink-182 with local social commentary and humor.
