Intro

Fahrenheit captures the quintessential 'idol' sound of the mid-2000s, a period defined by glossy production and high-concept group identities. Their music is a vibrant mix of bubblegum pop, sweeping romantic ballads, and later, a more mature rock-influenced sound. It feels like the soundtrack to a summer afternoon in Taipei, filled with youthful optimism and the dramatic emotional peaks of a television romance.

What makes them distinctive is the four-season conceptual framework that assigned each member a specific 'temperature' and personality. This translated musically into a blend of vocal textures: from Aaron Yan's cooler, more precise delivery to Jiro Wang's rock-inflected energy. Their harmonies are tight and polished, designed to land with maximum impact in a stadium or a karaoke room, often featuring the 'wall of sound' vocal layering typical of the HIM International era.

For those looking to dive in, their self-titled debut is the place to start for pure pop perfection. If you prefer something with a bit more grit, their third album 'Love You More & More' shows the group leaning into rock ballads and more complex arrangements. It is music that doesn't shy away from being big, bright, and unashamedly sentimental.

Fahrenheit (Chinese: 飛輪海; pinyin: Fēilúnhǎi) was a Taiwanese boy band composed of members Calvin Chen, Jiro Wang, Wu Chun, and Aaron Yan. They were formed in 2005 by Comic International Productions and HIM International Music and GMM Grammy in Thailand. Their music is distributed by WOW Music in Hong Kong and by Pony Canyon in Japan. Fahrenheit ware often associated with their labelmate seniors S.H.E, who are also under HIM International Music. In June 2011, Wu announced his decision to leave the group to focus on his acting career, but is open to the idea of reuniting with Fahrenheit in the future. Following Wu Chun's departure, the remaining members also went off to pursue solo projects, putting the group in an indefinite hiatus.
