Intro

VERIVERY is a masterclass in the 'creative idol' archetype, offering a sound that is as meticulously engineered as it is emotionally resonant. Their early work captures a vibrant, New Jack Swing-inspired optimism, full of bright synths and snappy percussion that feels like a technicolor summer. As they evolved, they pivoted into a much darker, more cinematic territory, incorporating industrial textures and aggressive basslines that mirror the complexities of youth and self-discovery.

What truly sets them apart is their 'DIY' ethos within the high-gloss K-pop machine. The members are deeply involved in the technical aspects of their output, from songwriting to directing their own music videos. This hands-on approach results in a cohesive aesthetic where the music and the visuals feel like they were born from the same brain, characterized by sharp editing, glitchy transitions, and a relentless sense of momentum.

For those new to the group, the 'FACE' series is the essential entry point. It showcases their transition from the infectious energy of 'Lay Back' to the stadium-ready power of 'G.B.T.B.' It is music that demands your full attention, perfect for high-stakes moments or whenever you need a shot of pure, calculated adrenaline.

Verivery (Korean: 베리베리; stylized in all caps and also abbreviated VRVR) is a South Korean boy band formed by Jellyfish Entertainment in 2018. They debuted on January 9, 2019 with Veri-Us. They self-produce their albums and have created several music videos directed and edited by Minchan, along with Verivery members. The group has explained that they take inspiration from other artist's performances, while Gyehyeon describes their process as Minchan drawing from "all the member's various ideas under his leadership".
