Vond sounds like the physical manifestation of isolation. It is music stripped of all warmth, replaced by slow-moving synth drones, murky tape hiss, and a sense of profound stillness. Unlike the epic fantasy of Mortiis, this project is grounded in a more human, psychological darkness. It feels like being trapped in a room where the air is slightly too thin.

What makes Vond distinctive is its commitment to a lo-fi, almost claustrophobic aesthetic.
