Elegant piano-led pop that feels like a private conversation in a velvet-lined theater. Sophisticated jazz chords meet the intimacy of a bedroom recording.
The Wasia Project is a British pop band formed by siblings Olivia Hardy and William Gao. Hardy provides vocals and guitar, while Gao contributes on piano, keyboards, and vocals. Since debuting in 2019, the duo has released two EPs, How Can I Pretend? and Isotope. During live performances, the pair expands their sound with a supporting ensemble featuring drums, bass, saxophone, and trombone to round out their musical arrangements.
