Zola Jesus is the professional moniker of American singer, songwriter, and producer Nika Roza Danilova. Born in Phoenix and raised in Wisconsin, she began her career by independently recording music during college. Since her 2009 debut, The Spoils, she has released several records, including Stridulum II, Conatus, and Taiga, establishing a distinct artistic presence within the independent music scene.
