Released in August 2015 after significant delays and label friction, Bang 3 serves as Chief Keef's second official studio album and a major sonic pivot. Moving away from the dark, minimalist textures of 'Finally Rich' and the psychedelic lo-fi of 'Almighty So,' this project embraces a 'big-room' trap sound characterized by the production of Zaytoven, Alki David, and Keef himself. The album is notable for its high-profile collaborations, most notably 'Superheroes' featuring A$AP Rocky, which had been teased for years prior to release.
